Story

It all started in September of 1771… kind of. Stafford Springs, Connecticut was becoming a popular destination for those seeking the healing benefits of its mineral water. It even drew the attention of our 2nd US President, John Adams (before he was President, of course). His writings and correspondence from the period provide insights into his experiences in Stafford Springs, reflecting on the social and medicinal aspects of his visit. Adams' trip is documented in his diaries and letters, where he detailed his daily routines, the people he met, and his impressions of the area. That’s why we decided to brew our beer here.

Bringing it back to modern day, we got our start on a back porch. What started as a hobby became our own version of a miraculous healing drink and here we are today, right in downtown Stafford Springs!
